What is a Plant-based lifestyle?
One of our favorite explanations of a plant-based lifestyle is: "If it walks, hops, swims, crawls, slithers, has eyes, a mom and a dad – don't eat it."
It's actually pretty simple…the lifestyle is based on eating foods derived from plants, including vegetables, whole grains, legumes and fruits. And, no - we don't eat salads all day! As you get immersed into the lifestyle, you will discover many "new" foods that fall into this category.
